About
A small desk with a narrow brief
This site is one person and a rotating handful of contributors who have written about the UK gambling market for about a decade between them. We do not run games. We do not take deposits. We do not have a customer support line because we have no customers in the gambling sense — only readers.
What we publish
Comparison pages. One showcase, a handful of operators at a time, written in plain English, with the boring parts (terms, payment methods, withdrawal windows) covered properly. When a site is mediocre we say so on the page. When an offer reads better than it pays out, we explain the gap.
What we don't publish
Daily news, breaking-bonus alerts, listicles that repeat themselves with a new title every six weeks. There is plenty of that on the internet already and most of it exists to push an affiliate click rather than help a player decide anything.
How we are paid
When a reader signs up to a casino via one of our links, the operator pays us a commission. That is the whole business model. We write the page first, choose the ranking second, and add the link last. If a brand stops meeting our shortlist rules, the link comes off — and that has happened.
What we will not do
- Quote a headline bonus figure we cannot actually verify a new account receives after normal terms.
- Frame gambling as income, side hustle, or a way to "beat" anything.
- Run pop-ups, countdown timers, fake live-chat widgets, or any other pressure tactic.
- Take money from an unlicensed operator under any circumstance.
